Enrollment, step by step.
From first tour to first drop-off, here's exactly how it works — and how to plan around our waitlists.
1 · Tour the school (free, ~45 minutes)
Come see the classrooms mid-morning when the rooms are humming. You'll meet the director, peek into every room, and get every question answered — ratios, meals, naps, discipline philosophy, all of it. Bring your child; we'd love to meet them.
2 · Apply & join the waitlist
A short application holds your child's place in line — no fee to apply. Infant and toddler rooms typically carry a 2–6 month waitlist, so the best time to apply is early in pregnancy or the moment you start planning. Preschool and Pre-K spots open most often in August and January.
3 · Offer, paperwork & deposit
When a spot opens we call, and you have three days to say yes. Then it's Colorado licensing paperwork (immunizations, emergency contacts, health form signed by your pediatrician) and a one-month deposit that applies to your last month of tuition.
4 · Gradual start
We never do a cold-turkey first day. Your child visits for an hour with you, then a morning solo, then a full day — over about a week, at the pace your child sets. Ms. Elena's rule: the transition is done when drop-off ends in a wave, not tears. (Yours don't count. Bring sunglasses.)
Mid-year moves & transfers
Moving to Denver mid-year, or leaving a center that wasn't the right fit? Tell us — mid-year openings do happen, and we prioritize siblings of current families and transfers from closing programs.
